OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH INTERSTRUCT INC
The connection between Interstruct and our founder began when she became the central figure of the mural on the street-facing wall of the 1940s warehouse on Interstruct’s building at 814 W. Church Street. Commissioned during the tumultuous period following the murder of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis, artist and project lead Maureen Hudas. We needed a place to feed the homeless without any issues, and Interstruct's lot is conveniently located in Parramore. What started as a simple request, "Hey, can I use your lot for this event?" has now blossomed into a partnership that has positively impacted thousands of lives.
Since 2020, Interstruct Inc. has directed 100% of its charitable giving to The Desire Foundation Inc. The Desire Foundation currently utilizes Interstruct HQ to run their programs, with the Interstruct team providing a safe and clean environment for our clients, along with necessary resources for our operations. As the needs in our community continue to grow, Ryan Young assists us in connecting with other organizations, businesses, and individuals who can support our mission.
